Publication Policy
Last updated August 12, 2026
Because NateFlix is about a young child, we hold ourselves to a higher bar than a typical family blog for what gets published and how. This page explains the standard.
What gets approved
- Every photo, video, or story about Nate is reviewed and approved by his parents before it's published — nothing goes up automatically.
- Family and friends named or shown on the site (the "cast and crew") are asked before their name or likeness is added.
- Content is chosen to be warm and celebratory — not embarrassing, not identifying in ways that could put Nate at risk, and nothing he couldn't be proud of later.
What we won't publish
- Nate's school, daycare, or other regular locations.
- His home address or precise real-time location.
- Full birth date details beyond what's needed for a birthday post.
- Anything a family member has asked to be left out.
As Nate grows up
As Nate gets older, he gets more say in what stays public. Content decisions will increasingly include his own preferences, not just his parents'.
Requesting a change
Anyone featured on the site — or, for a minor, a parent or guardian on their behalf — can ask for something to be edited, unpublished, or clarified at any time.
Requests or concerns: reach the family through the contact listed on the main NateFlix site.
